Living in Chaos

Since I was young I remember asking friends if they wanted help cleaning their rooms or going through their clothes, but I truly realized my passion for decluttering when my husband and I bought our first home.

When we moved in, we were fortunate to be given lots of furniture and housewares, but not knowing what we truly needed and being too polite to say 'no thank you', quickly lead to living in chaos with too much stuff.

Living with Less

To solve the problem, we took on a massive declutter of our home and donated the things that weren’t serving us. We immediately started to feel the benefits of living with less. Our stress decreased significantly, it was easier to relax, and our house was easier to clean.

Knowing our unused items could be donated to help others also made us feel good!

Living to Help Others

Once our place was in order, I started helping my friend declutter and reorganize her home too. I knew my life was better and that I could help my friend make her life easier, but it wasn't until she expressed the impact on her daily life that I realized professional organizing was something I could do to help many more people change their lives as well!

I am a new mom in 2025 to a beautiful baby girl!

I love alternative music, reading, and a good old cartoon movie.

I love animals and have THREE mascots of my own! Pepper is my cat and Gigi & April are my dogs.

I have a lot of creative hobbies and am seeking the perfect balance between keeping craft supplies on hand and keeping things simple.

I am also a Mammographer/Radiographer, so I have a lot of experience working with people and people in vulnerable situations.

About Home Like New Professional Decluttering & Organization

Do you provide organizational materials?

When I consult with clients, I assess everything we will need to help you achieve your desired end result. If additional storage solutions are required for us to complete your project, they will be included in the final quote.

What happens with the items after the declutter?

All of your decluttered belongings will be categorized as "garbage" or "donations" and will be disposed of accordingly at the end of each session. I will take a car load of items to a local donation centre of your choice and your garbage items will be kept for you to put out on your next garbage day!

What locations do you serve?

The main areas I work in are Guelph, Cambridge, KW and surrounding cities, but we are willing to travel! Travel fees will be assessed based on location.
